Review of Music to raise the dead by Phantom Planet

"Phantom Planet" is a four piece indie / rock band AC Los Angeles, California. There are currently four members of Phantom Planet, they are Alexander Greenwald (vocals and guitar), Darren Robinson (guitar and vocal backing), Sam Farrar (bass and backup vocal) and Jeff Conrad (drums). Former members Jacques Brautbar left to pursue his interest in photography while Jason Schwartzman decided to pursue his acting career. The group is known for the single, "California" which became popular for the TV series, The OC

Raise The Dead is an album title that kills. You might think it's an album of heavy metal or black while watching the title of the album. As long as you press the "Play" button, you never know. Phantom Planet has really evolved and got stronger than before.

Raise The Dead We toasted with the song As epic "Raise The Dead." A track that is so delicious that you swallow when Alex explodes in the chorus. The title of this song itself raise our eyebrows and make us ask what that means. Raise The Dead is definitely a pleasant song for the invisible … Phantom Planet made this song and then click moment that someone would find it impossible not to love. And I rarely see Alex screaming so loud. Enjoy!

"Drop" is simply incredible! Phantom Planet show their animals with the guitars and teamwork well. In the verse, you can find Phantom Planet song as a team and during the chorus is even better, they go, "Drop Whatcha .. .. .. Got Now .. Drop .. Whatcha .. Got .. Now .. "It's like they have a group of people saving their votes. The guitar is really too deadly, they have parties tempo capacity, and parts explode. Words aside, you would certainly like a fall or you'd better all Phantom Planet.

"Leader" characteristics of a group of children who help Phantom Planet. They are a good time together. From beginning to end, the chorus provided by the children really something to remember. They have reached a new peak when they joined Alex in the chorus, "Come join our hands and come, the day on the verge of dawn, I feel it coming on and the time on you, Now it will not be long, I feel it coming … "Honestly, I do not think the song fit very well with the music leader, but Phantom Planet made a song to remember. It's simply magical!

"Do Panic is certainly one of the best titles to resurrect the dead. There is also a song from the CD Phantom Planet's fan club called Phantom Planet: Negatives. They have made a more beautiful version of Do re-work the Panic, and the result is simply contagious. It's like having a need something. So, listeners, beware! Their really catchy guitar riffs and memorable hooks contain. Phantom Planet would go, "BA, BA, BA … Sha's bi … BA, BA, BA … Of Sha … . It is an invitation to sing well, and when the chorus arrives, Relax, and panic.

Phantom Planet has slowed down a bit with "quarantine". Reminds me of the movie starring Jennifer Carpenter. After following the words, I can only assume that Quarantine is trying to tell the story of a man who tried to save his beloved from a kind of contagious diseases. This is why the words: "And it's you I've done, I put the deadbolt on the door, I can not understand that you now see, to achieve this is not to keep me, but keep all Sickie out … "A beautiful and touching ballad a bit of Phantom Planet, however.

"Ship Lost at Sea "is cute, funny and good. At first, it already creates the atmosphere of being lost at sea with the sound of boats sailing at sea also has a cute little sound to it, which I find very funny. If I am not mistaken, there was some electronic elements ship lost at sea, making it more appealing. Ship lost at sea is really a good experience with choirs and friendly words smart if you pay attention to lip sing Phantom Planet's.

"Demon Daughters" has some dark elements of the. It tells the story girls demon of great music and vocals on this road. Often than not, Alex screams and explodes in the chorus, and passes to a lower tone by telling the story in verse. I really love the bass line of girls Demon. Items dark side, Phantom Planet still manage to belt a reality great track that showcases the versatile voice of Alex.

"Geronimo" is explosive from beginning to end, so to revive certain elements of their previous self-titled album. Throughout Geronimo, Alex's voice is a little drowned by the music hit hard. Do not get me not even with that, Geronimo still be a good listener. Showing how versatile and talented Phantom planet can be. It feels good to listen Geronimo especially when you're too tired or really bored and need a push to get to the place.

Phantom Planet return their friendly guitar hook with "Too Much, too often. It is a happy track with a really good music along side with Alex singing. 3 / 4 time, Phantom Planet have tried to create a memorable moment too much, too often. They finally did it near the part where ending 45 seconds remaining to store a really great combination of music and singing. I just that.

"Confess" began strikingly short and followed by some music as a lullaby, and singing. Admit is a mid-tempo track with a really smart musical. There are ups and downs in this direction, which means strong and weak elements. The chorus is really good listening to your ears, where Alex goes, "Your Number's Up is demand, you have something to say? I have no contact, you're out of breath, do you have something to say? … "It's just too good. Between the two, attention to the viola that comes on and off to help provide Confess. Just love Phantom Planet about it!

"Allow yourself to someone else" is another track that looks like too much too often. A track rock and pop playful sun shines /. The best deal in this respect is the repetition of "Let yourself for someone else …», where the rest of Phantom Planet join Alex and make this track a lot more fun. A great team effort shown here!

Raise The Dead chooses to end with a broken heart: "I Do not Mind." is a ballad where Alex sings almost as if he no strength in him, or maybe he is trying to tell us it is really sad and down, singing I Do not Mind. "But I do not mind … Just stay close, like all times, either because I bleed, or keep this thorn in my side, but I do not mind … "The Music plays a large role both in making this song sounds so low, especially the viola (If I'm not mistaken). There is also an instrumental hidden in I Do not Mind, where he fills the rest 1 minute. From what I heard, it could have been produced by flutes or synthesizers. Phantom Planet Raise The Dead ends involuntarily, I guess.

Note: Raise The Dead is really enjoyable from beginning to end. From their beginnings until now, Phantom Planet has grown and evolved with every album. Raise The Dead proves by far the best album to day. It is a shame to see Phantom Planet signed by Fueled By Ramen that I do not want to see them finally and gradually becomes an emo. I really hope they will not become one, instead I just want to continue to write, compose and play good music. Most titles are incredibly Raise The Dead catchy and have some "instant-click" quality. And I found my favorites, even at first listen. Clever guitar riffs with a great lesson and the pace, which would not raise the dead. I rate 7.8 out of 10.

Departure kicking (my caps): raise the dead, Abandonment, Leader, Do The Panic, ships lost at sea, Demon Girls, too often and too confess.

Cheers!
