i’m currently working in a factory, but ive always loved being creative. from writing poetry, to making cards & other crafts like picture frames, jewelry, and other spiffy things. i’ve made several cards & gifts for people at work, and several people have told me that i should possibly look into having some type of job on the side making the things i make. how would i go about doing something like that?
Make up a portfolio of examples of the types of work you can do. Show it shops, boutiques, etc. and offer to sell on consignment. Or you could do craft shows/flea markets on the weekends whenever you have the time.
