Do I need to sign / stamp my photography is for sale?
I am starting a small business both on and offline. I fear that, after I sell one of my impressions someone can copy it and resell it. I am planning on adding some kind of logo for copies Digital to prevent anyone from simply copying the digital file. However, I do not necessarily sign an impression that is not numbered and is sold as a piece of fine art framable. What worries me more copies founded? Also, is it customary for a photographer to sign a piece of art? As clarified most of my sales will be through an e-commerce store and I will do very little, if any, framing. Drawings are to be framed, however, I will not do the framing, I want to leave framing to the client.
Framing, sign the mat and put the info Copy right on the back with a stamp on the printout. sell it on the mat with frame or only in matte. I'm sure the frame shop help here. Remember that the impression is set, are not under the price. Whatever your thoughts on load .. charge twice that amount. Me thinks I'm digging the tracks the register and some boxes to the farmers market this summer … hummmm …. or go fishing, I am after all .. Simi retirement
