What are some tips and tricks for photographing children? Portraits for children?
Hi all: I was a photographer serious amateur and I recently started shooting professionally. I'll take pictures for a mother and her 6 year old son on Saturday. I wonder if there are tips on taking portraits for children. I always try to know a little about me before I start shooting and this will be my first After shooting a 6 years. I want to know how to get the kid to work with me and not get bored during the session. I thought of him with corruption a toy or candy bar, but that's all. Any help welcome! thx
Do not sit, lay them, and expect to get good pictures. It will not happen. If you need to have formal plans, give them something to play while you take the photo for a natural look. I found with children that it's much better to simply turn them loose in the area you wish to photograph and follow with the camera. Look what they do naturally, and photography. Does the child like sports? Bring a basketball or something … Learn that love (call to his mother) and to file things that keep him occupied.
