Ideas photograph? I was asked to do a photo shoot?
One of my friends have been riding some of my photos and asked me go out and do a photo shoot of her posing with her chestnut gelding. I'm really excited about the experience because it will be very good for me in developing my photography skills, but I am a little worried because I've never done portraits, landscapes and nature photos. In addition, it said she wants to "artistic" photos, but I'm not an artistic person and I prefer straight, photography technique, rather that pop-art effect photography. In any case, I hoped to hear from any equine photographers there, and people took portraits with their own horses. I need advice on camera settings (I use a Nikon D80), lighting (We'll be outdoors) and different compositions and poses photo to try to have a more "artistic" effect. Thank you!

It does help to photography horse to have an extra person to "make the ears of the horse, mainly to do something that lies the horse to prick the ears and do pretty, no one likes a photo of their horse with its ears back.
