Nice scenery to take pictures at, know a place?..?
My girl loves to take pictures, she’s into photography. Anyone know a great place to take pictures? We both live in Portland, OR. I already took her to Multnomah falls, Japanese Gardens, Mt. Hood. I’d like to take her within a 80 mile radius or somethin close to that.. thanks
My personal favorites:
Try the coast road and hit Tillamook up to Astoria for some seaside sights. Picturesque if you like water, boats and cliffs.
Mt St. Helens. Very dramatic, if somewhat barren.
Mount Rainier National Park, it’s got almost everything you can think of from a nature point of view. It’s about 80-90 miles from Portland.
Burtchart Gardens, Victoria BC definitely farther than 80 miles, but it’s worth the trip at least once in your life. Probably one of the premier floral gardens in the world.
