night time photography film

night time photography film
Question about photography.?

Hello everybody! Back in high school, I was really into photography and took a photography class, but did not learn much at all from him (not even how to develop our own film). Five years later, I decided I want to return it. Unfortunately, I do not remember my camera and I do not have the manual for instructions. Also, I do not remember what ISO and all these things in other ways. Basically, I need someone to cover all the basics .. All details must be explained how to focus on an object and everything is blurry, how to take pictures of city lights at night to .. nothing else. If you can help me or know a good website that can help me, I would really appreciate it. Thank you all so much! OH! Incidentally, I have a Pentax ZX-M (camera). You do not know if it makes a big difference.

Ok, starting, ISO is the sensitivity of the film the higher the number goes, the more sensitive the film is constructed with silver crystals that are insensitive to light, then the largest of these crystals are the Film is more sensitive, so a 100 ISO film is very good for picture day, the colors are more intense, but because the crystals are smaller, it takes more time for them to change with the light (make an image), but if you use a 400 or 800 ISO film, the crystals are larger and for this they change more rapidly with light and for this purpose, you can take better pictures at night. To focus an object and blurred the rest is simple: on the lens there is a little ring (if your camera is completely manual, if its automatic, you cannot help me) on the lens that has a lot of small figures, from 1.8 or 3.5 or sometimes 4 to 16 or 22 is the diaphragm that opens and closes (not completely), to allow more or less light through the change and the depth of field, so to take a picture with everything blur than you focus, you just put the ring on the lens to the smallest number (as either 1.8 or 3.5 or by your camera), the accent you want and press the shutter button. To take photos of the city at night First you need a tripod or if you can not get their hands on one, using a chair or bench or simply call (but you'll get different view from there) and then, on top of your device is a button with different speeds off, the button there is also a B (which means "bulb"), turn the button until it can be marked B, point the camera anywhere you want and press the shutter button and does not release until you think is enogh; function of B is to open the thutter as long as you press, and when you let go, closing the shutter, so sometimes you have to stay there for some time. So I recommend getting a cable shutter, the cable is connected to your Cammas and when pressed (it has a button on one end), it activates the shutter, this cable you can buy at any camera shop, or used to, at least. The time you can leave the shutter open random variables depending on the light there is, the streets lit, I recommend starting with 5-10 seconds to take a picture with the light of the full moon, 20-30 seconds, if you want to take a picture of stars, the time may be 2 to 10 or 15 minutes, if the star is the displacement due to movement of the planet, but if a tree happens to be in sight, the tree is static, which gives it a nice touch. You can vary the time on your night photos as you want. Not experience and this way you will know your camera better. Enjoy! Good luck
