I'm really interested in photography, but do not know where to start?
I have no experience …. just me and my digital camera. For now, I do not 'have time to take a photography class, although I would like in the future. What could I do to learn in time. Any good sources you could tell me?
The first thing to do is learn all about camera functions. ISO, shutter speed and aperture, and how they effect the outcome of the final image. Then, learn about how to actually get an excellent image. This is called an eye "good", but it is really much more to understand. Composition color, texture, repetition, line, focus, light, dark, rule of thirds, and lighting are some things you need to know. There are many more. Anyway, learn about all these things and see if it really what you want to do. With all studies, and the expensive camera would be useless come to discover this is not the course you want to take. Good camera equipment alone costs more than $ 5,000. Add some good lenses, and you'll be looking into a range of prices pushing $ 15,000. Regarding school, I know that some people who excel in the field of photography, and they have only a degree of associates in photography, though. Others go to art school closed for four years, and does not mean they take good pictures. If you choose to go to college for photography, I recommend although for some classes, also take courses in business management. Because you will most likely work for you in the field weddings and portraits of children, the more stable picture there. Hope this has helped.
