Coral Paint Shop Pro question ….. for digital photography afficianados!?
Photographing a diamond ring and wanted to add that ‘sparkle’ that you get from the light reflecting on a diamond facet. Is there a way to do this on Paint Shop Pro? Thanks …
The easiest and best way would be to add a starburst for a “glint” using the Paintbrush tool.
Here’s an old Photoshop tutorial. It’s easy enough that if you know where PSP’s basic tools are, you should be able to do it.

You can convert Photoshop brushes for use in Paint Shop Pro:

Paint Shop Pro, in Effects>Illumination Effects, try the Sunburst but I don’t think it’s “glinty” enough to give the sparkle you want.
(I needed some starbursts last year and just made some and did File>Export>Custom Brush so they’re mine forever;-)
Additional: I found this Xero Graphics Starburst plugin. It will work in PSP. Just unzip and put into the plugins folder in the My PSP folder in Documents.
