The process of writing can bring out many emotions. You can experienced the frustration when you receive your thoughts and ideas on paper and things just were not flowing. It's part of how you learn to write. There was definitely excitement when the book was finished. However, you are not finished yet! That could very well be considered the most important part of the writing process is to be done, because the assembly. When you change, you must be able to review your work objectively. You need to step back and see with new eyes. This can be difficult, but it is absolutely necessary to succeed in publishing your work. There are some steps you can take to simplify the process and some things standard that you should be looking each and every time you change.
Begin at the beginning
One issue concerns the most important are the basic principles of spelling, grammar and punctuation. While this may seem simple to some, there are many nuances that you can not know before being written for a while. Even good writers seem to have a company handle the mistakes they made with them at the table. Learn to recognize and explore common mistakes made until it is just second nature. There are several great (and surprisingly entertaining) books on grammar, spelling and punctuation. Some very common user errors that you can study deeper,
-its/it the
-there/they're / their
-your/you es
-further/farther
In Also, remember to take the same care with things like your letter of request. This is the first thing an editor sees when you submit Book your children. It creates the first impression. The work is full of errors indicates that you are sloppy and not very intelligent. While this is certainly not true, it is difficult to replace that negative first impression.
You need a Distinct Voice
Each work must have a distinctive voice. This is particularly important when learning to write for children. novels for adults can get away from having a standard complexity in the plot and a structure that simply does not appeal to children. Young readers, especially, need a clear indication who is the center of the story is. For children, they want to be with other children, so they can relate to what is happening. If you are writing for older children or teenagers, you can make exceptions. However, it is always better to err on the side of simplicity when it is the voice of history.
There is a rhythm
There are two main types of books for children, and each must be examined very differently. A novel has to move in a way that keeps the reader drawn into the story. This is usually achieved by keeping the heavy at the end of a chapter. This makes your reader want to turn the page and continue with your characters. When editing, you must close attention the rhythm and flow of history. Give him several older children to read, and request information. Children tend to be very honest about what they do and I do not.
When there is a picture or a book of stories, there is an art distinct from the process. Picture books often circulate a bit like poetry. There should be a natural rhythm that comes when the book is read aloud. Some authors fall into these patterns naturally. However, as you edit, you may need to deliberately create what pace to help your book really shine.,
What language?
The language book your child has a lot of things you need to pay attention to the edition. Firstly, when writing for children, focus on maintaining your sentence structure short and uncomplicated. Remove all foreign words and phrases. Playing for better flow children when they do not dwell too much on the senses. You must know your audience and maintain the structure at a level appropriate level.
The next thing to do with language is the way you are describing events. When you write, it should be a certain amount of explanation takes place in order to prepare the ground for events subsequent to the story. However, this explanation and detail should not be planted or obvious. As the story unfolds, the detail in the dialogue and text in a natural way. It should be almost imperceptible.
Finally, look at the language with a fine tooth comb. Be brutal. Delete everything and anything that does not contribute to the plot and meaning of history. It may be descriptive language, adverbs and adjectives. Look for redundancy. If you are repeating similar choice of words, find synonyms. If a sentence requires a qualification for greater impact, to find a better substitute for describing the same direction.
Of course, there are certainly many more can be done during the editing process. As you learn to write, you'll learn your own strengths and weaknesses and begin to see what areas you need to work on during editing. These, however, some good places to start the process.
